Trio Neuburger-Nemtanu-Korniluk
Excellence at the service of emotions
What is chamber music? And what can a new formation bring today, in the face of this already ancient tradition?
These questions accompanied the birth of the trio formed by pianist Jean-Frédéric Neuburger, violinist Sarah Nemtanu and cellist Grégoire Korniluk. Sarah's passion for chamber music in all its forms was the trigger: she has indeed regularly performed with one or the other of these partners. Their project crystallizes around two axes: the common desire to re-explore together the great repertoire of the piano trio and the desire to compare their approaches. Because the other characteristic of this trio is due to the diversity of their careers: Jean-Frédéric Neuburger, international soloist and composer, Sarah Nemtanu, who in addition to her solid career as a soloist and chamber musician, is solo violin of the Orchester National de France and finally Grégoire Korniluk, who in addition to having been principal cello of the NDR Orchestra in Hamburg has enriched himself musically and humanly by taking side paths. He has notably collaborated with the Finnish metal band Apocalyptica, actor Jean-Louis Trintignant and singer Marianne Faithfull.
